Maya is a cosplayer from the Netherlands.
She first got in contact with the cosplaying community in 2010. For the first few years she attended some fairs and festivals but did not make her own costumes.

After the fist years she started to make her own outfits. Sewing help from her mother and other crafting expertise learned from het father. Now she can make her own costumes and learns while making them.

Since she started cosplaying she has done the folowing costumes:
– Alice, from Disneys Alice in Wonderland.
– Winry Rockbell, from the anime fullmetal alchemist brotherhood
– Hades (genderbend), from Disneys Hercules
– Wanda, from the tv-show fairly odd parents
– Ash Ketchum from the tv-show pokemon: indigo league
– Katara, from the show Avatar, Legend of Aang

She is currently working on the following costumes:
– Hufflepuff student, from the harry potter series
– Aqua, from the game kingdom hearts: Birth by sleep

She cosplays on a regular basis with her best friend under the handle of fairlyoddcosplays.
